Tradeweb’s Digital Assets team explores and develops opportunities at the intersection of traditional capital markets and digital finance. The team works across product, technology, sales, and other areas of the firm to evaluate emerging trends, understand evolving client needs, and develop solutions that support institutional participation in digital asset markets. As the digital asset landscape continues to evolve, the team helps Tradeweb identify where new technologies and market structures can create value for clients. The team’s work spans two closely connected areas: - **Tokenization:** Developing blockchain-based trading and settlement workflows for traditional financial assets, including government securities and equities. The focus is on modernizing how these assets trade and settle through faster, more efficient systems that support 24/7 markets. - **Crypto markets:** Building capabilities that give clients access to this emerging asset class while helping establish the market structure needed for broader institutional participation. ## About the Internship As an intern on Tradeweb’s Digital Assets team, you will work alongside product professionals and gain exposure to the development and growth of digital asset solutions through market research, product-focused projects, client initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration. Throughout the summer, you will build an understanding of digital asset market structure, institutional trading workflows, and how new technologies are influencing the evolution of capital markets. Deep technical expertise in blockchain is not required. However, you should be genuinely interested in digital finance, cryptocurrencies, tokenization, blockchain, and distributed ledger technology, and eager to develop your knowledge through hands-on experience. ## What Do You Need to Succeed? - Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in working with data and conducting research. - Genuine interest in digital assets, cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and financial markets. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn about emerging technologies and their applications within capital markets. - A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. - Ability to take initiative, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute to individual and team-based projects. ## About Tradeweb Markets Tradeweb is a global leader in electronic trading across asset classes.
