As a CO+I DCT, you will play a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. We build our culture every day on values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. ## Responsibilities ### Required Qualifications As a DCT, your responsibilities include: - Contributes to issue tracking through escalations, asking questions, and seeking guidance from more experienced technicians for timely issue resolution. - Participates in daily safety briefings and completes required training aligned with the role and workload, complying with all safety procedures (e.g., equipment use, lifting, electrical hazards, ladder/rolling stair use). - Completes assigned tickets efficiently and in alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while meeting established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), with guidance from other technicians. - Complies with security and data management procedures and policies with guidance from other technicians and completes required security training. - Maintains a strong client focus to understand the impact of their work when completing tickets and assigned tasks. - Contributes to a positive and effective team environment by sharing information, participating in regular team meetings, asking questions, and staying apprised of the status of others' work. - Demonstrates pride and accountability for the service quality, completeness, and ownership of the data center facilities. ### Preferred Qualifications We also look for candidates with the following: - 1+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology. - Applicable certifications, such as CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), or Basic Structure Cabling (BSC). ## Minimum Requirements - Completed High/Secondary School, GED, an apprenticeship/vocational qualification, or equivalent experience and basic knowledge of computer hardware and components. ## Security & Citizenship Requirements Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is mandatory for this role. This includes: - **Microsoft Cloud Background Check:** Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hiring/transfer and every two years thereafter. - **Citizenship Verification:** This position requires verification of Singaporean Citizenship OR Permanent Residency (PR) due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Applicants must provide a valid passport to verify their Citizenship OR PR status.
