The Production Planning Team optimizes capacity across Fulfillment Centers through innovative solutions planning. We seek diverse perspectives and experiences to strengthen our global operations and customer experience. This role requires expertise to develop network-wide strategies and drive operational excellence. Collaborate with multiple business teams including FC operations, HR, finance, supply chain, transportation, workforce staffing, and others. ## Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute short, medium, and long-term operational plans to optimize staffing costs. - Support warehouse staffing and capacity metrics forecasting using statistical modeling to drive collaborative decision-making. - Be responsible for warehouse processing capacity planning data to identify trends and improvement opportunities; focus on understanding data deviations, their root causes, and driving forward-looking opportunities. - Analyze capacity planning data to identify trends and improvement opportunities and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders. - Collaborate with global teams across Europe. - Support Production planning and cost optimization initiatives. ## Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or other business/analytical disciplines, or equivalent. - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, VLOOKUP, VBA, and data links. - Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience with SQL and Excel. - Experience working in a fast-paced, quickly changing, or international environment. - Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines. - Experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis, or equivalent. - Experience with operations/supply chain. - Ability to closely work with operation, finance, and planning leaders to manage lead-time, capacity, and optimize the impact of labor on supply position throughout the entire supply chain. ## Applying to this role This Production Planning Analyst, Supply Chain,Local Trans & Supply Chain role at Amazon runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
