Every person here has a voice, ships meaningful work, and helps shape how AI can make the world safer and more connected. ## The Role We're looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our core engineering team. You'll help build the systems that power our video intelligence platform: services that ingest and process video and sensor data at scale, AI features that allow people to search hours of footage in plain English, and real-time detections running across a fleet of edge devices. This is not a side-project internship. You will be shipping code to production within your first weeks, working alongside the people who designed the systems, and getting your work reviewed by engineers committed to your development. The scope of your work will grow as fast as you do. ## What You'll Work On - Developing AI-native features end-to-end, including natural-language video search, real-time detections, and agentic workflows built on multimodal LLMs and computer vision. You will work with bleeding-edge models on problems that currently lack established answers. - Ingesting, processing, and serving video and sensor data in real time using Golang and Python. - Building user-facing frontends in TypeScript and React, collaborating directly with product teams. - Creating APIs and systems that function between our ML pipelines and our edge device fleet. - Contributing to infrastructure and architecture decisions alongside senior engineers, utilizing Kubernetes on AWS and Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Working with distributed systems, real-time processing, and high availability requirements. ## Skills and Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Solid programming fundamentals in at least one modern programming language, coupled with a strong eagerness to learn others. - Evidence of building, such as through side projects, previous internships, open source contributions, or hackathons. - Genuine curiosity about AI and the trajectory of the technology. - The resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment where solutions are not always immediately known. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. - Ability to work onsite for the duration of the internship. ## What We Offer - Competitive internship pay. - Real ownership of production work, backed by mentorship from senior engineers. - Daily team dinners and regular team off-sites to foster connection and momentum. - Access to the latest Apple technology and an unlimited tech stack. - The opportunity to be considered for a full-time role after graduation.
