We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward. - **Mission Focus:** Build something that actually matters—if you're going to spend your time, spend it on something that matters to the world. ## The Software Engineering Team Examples of key exciting problems the team is working on: - We're building the pipeline that processes thousand-page vendor unstructured material against our own DC design to automate the generation of an end-to-end site design and schedule. - We're building the live model of an AI infrastructure project’s entire delivery schedule, featuring durable workflows handing off across every team, to replace static Gantt charts with a plan that updates itself as reality changes. - We're building the agent platform that wraps AI in real authorization, audit, and guardrails, enabling agents to accelerate the development of infrastructure instead of just advising or reporting on it. ## Role Scope - **Build Core Primitives End to End:** Focus on entity ownership, audit, and orchestration. You define the right thing as the default and the wrong thing as hard. - **Own the Domain Model:** Transform Fluidstack's world of power, datacenters, and chips into composable entities that remain robust for years to come. - **Define External Interactions:** Interface with vendor systems and ingest the formats our domain speaks, including KMZ, BIM, and Revit vendor documents. - **Make AI Agents First-Class Operators:** Equip them with the proper tools, guardrails, and audit trails to act safely, rather than just offering advice. ## What We're Looking For The list below is a starting point. You have experienced failure and learned from it. - You pull structure out of mess. You have practical experience transforming messy, unstructured data into usable forms in areas like ML, data engineering, or research. - You are fluent with AI tooling, including LLM APIs, MCP servers, and agentic frameworks, and you actively use tools like Claude Code or Cursor daily. - You have shipped production code that others depend on, and you are comfortable working in any language utilizing AI coding tools. - **Bonus Skills:** MLE work, especially extraction and synthesis from unstructured data. Experience with workflow/orchestration engines (Temporal, Cadence, Airflow). Expertise in Geospatial (KMZ/GIS) or BIM (Revit, IFC). Knowledge of authorization/policy engines (OPA, Zanzibar-style, RBAC/ABAC).
