A key feature of our programme is early and consistent client exposure, offering the opportunity to build relationships and develop confidence in real-world settings from the outset. You will collaborate closely with our ESG, Facilities Management, Property Accounting, and Building Surveying teams, gaining broad exposure across disciplines. As part of the programme, you will earn your IOSH certificate and attend external events and industry forums. This is a full-time position combining on-the-job training with attendance at external events and forums. ## Available Career Pathways ### Graduate Pathways - **RICS-Accredited Degree:** A 24-month programme designed to support you in completing the APC and becoming a Chartered Surveyor. - **Non-RICS Accredited Degree:** A 30-month programme designed to support you in completing an MSc in Commercial Real Estate alongside the APC, leading to Chartered Surveyor status. ### Apprentice Pathway - **Commercial Real Estate Degree Apprenticeship:** A 5-year programme designed to support you in completing a BSc in Commercial Real Estate and the APC to become a Chartered Surveyor. ## What You'll Do (Management Surveyor) As a Management Surveyor, you will oversee the day-to-day management of a varied portfolio of commercial properties, including retail, office, and industrial assets. You will provide specialist advice to landlords and tenants on matters such as lease obligations, repairs, and maintenance, while overseeing the management of rental income and other tenant-related charges. You will also work closely with clients to help enhance the value of their property portfolios. Our clients include large institutional investors, pension funds, insurance companies, and property companies. Other key responsibilities include: - Arranging and undertaking property inspections. - Preparing and administering service charge expenditure. - Ensuring compliance with legislation, including Health & Safety requirements and other regulations. - Managing tenant applications for assignments, subletting, and alterations. - Supporting clients with value-enhancement opportunities, including rent reviews, lettings, and lease renewals. - Reporting to and working with clients on tenure matters and physical property improvements. ## What Matters Most in This Role We are looking for individuals who demonstrate: - Enthusiasm and commitment to meeting both client and tenant requirements. - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively. - Resilience and a positive attitude. - The confidence to take responsibility, use initiative, and remain calm under pressure. - A willingness to work in different environments, both on-site and in the office. - A proactive approach to personal development and ownership of your learning and career progression. ## Entry Requirements ### Graduate Applicants - **RICS-Accredited Degree Pathway:** RICS-accredited degree with a minimum 2:2 classification (or equivalent). - **Non-RICS Degree Pathway:** Non-cognate, non-RICS accredited degree with a minimum 2:2 classification. ### Apprentice Applicants - 96 UCAS tariff points (or equivalent) and GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent); OR - An Advanced Apprenticeship in Surveying or Construction Technical with a minimum DD profile (or equivalent qualification), plus GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent). ## Why Work with Us? - Hybrid working to offer you a great work-life balance, requiring a minimum of three days in the office.
