KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Intern for our Advisory practice. ## Responsibilities - Support clients across two major areas: 1) end-to-end Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), which includes commercial due diligence, operational due diligence, integration & separation planning and implementation, and 2) Performance Transformation, which includes helping companies improve EBITDA and working capital through growth, margin, and cost initiatives. - Gather and analyze company, market, financial, and other relevant information. - Generate hypotheses from received data/information and identify and execute supporting quantitative and qualitative analyses. - Design and develop financial models to analyze financial and operational performance. - Facilitate meetings and conduct interviews to ensure objectives are met. - Communicate analysis findings and key implications effectively, both in writing and verbally. - Synthesize outputs into actionable takeaways and business recommendations. ## Qualifications - Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data & Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field from an accredited college or university. - Must have a current or most recent GPA of 3.0 or above. - Demonstrated strong skills in technical abilities, business acumen, critical thinking, and agility; ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes, coupled with a professional demeanor and a collaborative leadership approach in a dynamic environment. - Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (with an emphasis on Excel) and AI, and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications used by clients. - Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work in a professional services capacity. - Must reside within a commutable distance of the office location for this position and be responsible for personal transportation (vehicle or public transit) to and from the office/client locations to fulfill job duties. ### Work Location and Eligibility - Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. If working remotely, you must be located within the U.S. Client site locations may require travel and extended stay. - Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
