Join an inclusive team that inspires excellence, delivers meaningful impact, and empowers you to shape your future. ## Advisory Intern KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Intern for our Advisory practice. ## Responsibilities - Use the latest data analytics techniques on large datasets to address deal-related (M&A) problems for some of the largest US companies and industries. - Develop industry and business-specific insights using custom workflows, databases, and analytical procedures to advance engagements and business deals. - Execute research on business and data nuances relevant to a client's industry. - Assist in rapidly translating analytical findings into impactful and cutting-edge C-suite recommendations. - Support a multi-disciplinary analytics team specializing in machine learning, data science, and design. ## Qualifications and Requirements ### Education and Technical Skills - Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data & Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. - Must have a current or most recent GPA of 3.0 or above. - Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with formulas and pivot tables. - Experience with Python. - Knowledge of one of the following data manipulation tools: SQL, R, or Alteryx. - Knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau is a plus. ### Professional Skills and Logistics - Strong technical aptitude, business acumen, critical thinking, and agility skills; demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes, coupled with a professional demeanor and a collaborative leadership approach in a dynamic environment. - Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (with an emphasis on Excel) and AI, and quickly learn KPMG's proprietary tools and client applications. - Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism, manage priorities across multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality work in a professional services capacity. - Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for personal transportation to and from office/client locations. - Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote based on business needs. Must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay. - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
