Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis, supported by deep expertise and thought leadership. ## About the Role Strategy Insights & Planning Consultants deliver high-quality solutions for our clients. Consultants possess unstructured problem-solving skills, as well as strong analytical, synthesis, and communication skills. Consultants may work on multiple projects simultaneously. As Consultants advance in their careers, they specialize in a particular industry, practice area, and/or client relationship. ## What You’ll Do - Lead workstreams and project teams. - Partner with senior client stakeholders to identify business challenges and define opportunities. - Develop AI and digital transformation strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps. - Lead qualitative and quantitative research efforts to assess market trends, customer needs, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes. - Structure ambiguous business problems and develop actionable recommendations using hypothesis-driven problem solving. - Translate complex technical concepts into clear business implications for executive audiences. - Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and technology teams to shape AI solutions aligned with client business objectives. - Drive client workshops, executive presentations, and strategic discussions with cross-functional stakeholders. - Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of ZS’s AI strategy capabilities, thought leadership, and intellectual property. - Help develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional impact and growth. ## What You’ll Bring - Currently in the first year of an MBA program, with a bachelor’s degree—and often a graduate degree—in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field. - Three to five years of pre-MBA work experience. - Demonstrated experience leading client-facing projects and managing stakeholder relationships. - Strong understanding of AI, generative AI, machine learning, emerging digital technologies, and their business applications. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and structured-thinking skills. - Strong communication and executive presentation capabilities. - Fluency in English. - Client-first mentality. - Intense work ethic. - Collaborative spirit and problem-solving approach. ## How You’ll Grow - Cross-functional skills development and customized learning pathways. - Milestone training programs aligned with career progression opportunities. - Internal mobility paths that support growth through individual contribution, role expansion, and career progression. ## Perks & Benefits At ZS, your growth matters.
