These activities play a vital role in stabilizing and diversifying the Allianz Group, supporting our purpose to secure our customers’ future—today and tomorrow. ## Your Role in Our Team Join us as an Intern at Allianz SE Reinsurance Branch Asia Pacific, where you will gain hands-on exposure to Life & Health Reinsurance Solutions. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates to explore the reinsurance industry and contribute to meaningful work across the L&H team, from analytical projects to documentation and process improvement. You will report to a designated supervisor and work alongside experienced professionals who will guide and support your learning journey, with exposure to Client Management, Underwriting, Pricing, and portfolio management activities. ## How You Will Contribute - Support data verification, claims review, and portfolio performance analysis to help the team identify trends, risks, and business insights. - Assist with the preparation of business quotation materials, pricing inputs, client presentations, and internal discussion papers. - Support treaty and documentation work, including review, formatting, comparison, and preparation of draft materials. - Explore practical use cases for AI-enabled tools to support research, summarisation, document preparation, and workflow improvement, subject to company guidelines and appropriate review. - Assist with selected team initiatives and ad hoc projects as agreed with the supervisor. - Contribute meaningfully to organising and planning Corporate Responsibility events for the company. ## What You Bring to the Table - Willingness to commit for at least 6 months (January–June 2027), with a minimum of 3 full days per week. Priority will be given to candidates who can commit full-time. - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. - Experience in a reinsurance or insurance company is a plus. - Fluency in English; proficiency in other Asian languages would be an advantage. - Strong interest in insurance, reinsurance, actuarial science, underwriting, finance, or healthcare-related topics, with curiosity to learn how L&H reinsurance supports clients and markets. - Ability to manage multiple tasks independently, ask questions when needed, and document work clearly. - Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and willingness to learn AI-enabled productivity tools where appropriate. - Strong attention to detail, sound numerical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive client, treaty, and portfolio information with discretion and confidentiality. - Must be a team player with a service-oriented mindset.
