Together as an organization, we make magic happen. ## Role Description The successful candidate will be responsible for data analysis, strategic program execution, operational ownership, and cross-functional collaboration within the regional recommerce markets. ## Key Responsibilities - Analyze category, listing, and transaction data across regional markets to identify growth drivers, diagnose supply vs. demand needs for specific categories, and provide focused growth recommendations. - Own weekly and monthly dashboard reviews for Recommerce pillars, evaluating completed campaigns and experiments post-launch to recommend continuation, termination, or automation. - Support pricing, fee, and rebate initiatives by modeling take-rate promotions, forecasting outcomes, tracking actuals, and conducting competitor and market research on payments and delivery across markets. - Develop, manage, and execute Regional Go-to-market (GTM) programs in collaboration with local and regional teams for both existing and new features. - Leverage AI tools to synthesize cross-functional data, craft compelling GTM messaging, automate operational processes, and streamline performance reporting. - Execute promotional campaigns for regional recommerce markets across in-app and outbound channels, including audience definition, copy creation, setup, testing, and scheduling; also writing creative briefs and conducting user surveys to support campaigns. - Own the end-to-end delivery partner cost cycle for the region: reconciling carrier invoices against transaction data, updating shipping cost and revenue, resolving discrepancies, and managing invoices through to payment. - Manage promo code operations and serve as the daily coordination point for 1P and merchant partners, assisting with listing uploads, order and refund queries, and monthly performance updates. - Update and maintain marketing calendars in coordination with both internal and external stakeholders. - Collaborate with cross-functional partners (including Business, Category Marketing, Design, Product, Trust, Finance, and Engineering) to drive alignment on initiatives. ## Qualifications - This is a full-time, 6-month internship starting January 2027. - Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or Business. - Ability to generate insights and recommendations from large datasets. - Comfortable with quantitative analysis and possessing a keen eye for detail. - Familiarity with Google Suite applications, particularly Sheets, Docs, and Slides. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Mandarin (written and verbal) is preferred. - Proficiency in using Generative AI to assist in trend analysis and strategic brainstorming. - A willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new challenges. - Innovative mindset and the ability to think creatively to solve problems within operational constraints. - Highly organized, capable of multitasking with strong project management skills to balance recurring commitments against ad-hoc requests. - A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across different functions. - Keen interest in Carousell and the dynamics of secondhand marketplaces. - Availability to commit to full-time work for 6 months. ## Applying to this role This Recommerce Business Intern_Jan 2027 role at Carousell runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
