Everyone on every team has the opportunity to make an impact on our business. ## About the Investment Services Internship If you are interested in pursuing a career in the corporate functions of a leading global alternative investment firm, this 10-week summer internship will provide valuable, hands-on experience at a complex global firm. You will gain exposure to the fast-paced, competitive hedge fund industry alongside senior professionals dedicated to your success. Interns gain exposure to research and content creation, including media monitoring, competitive audits, branded recruiting and digital content, event planning, and bespoke projects, while working closely with senior management and functional leaders firmwide. ### Compliance The Compliance team supports the firm’s global investment and trading activities by establishing and enforcing compliance policies, providing real-time advice, and conducting pre- and post-trade surveillance. Interns gain exposure to enforcing the Code of Ethics and personal trading programs, liaising with global regulators, maintaining the firm’s restricted list, and performing due diligence on research providers, consultants, and trading counterparties. ### Finance The Corporate Finance team provides timely, accurate financial information, advice, and services to business partners across Corporate Accounting, Global Payments, Procurement, FP&A, and Financial Reporting. Interns gain exposure to activities such as the month-end close, investor risk reports, and consolidated monthly financial packages, while sharpening their Excel, writing, and presentation skills through intensive mentoring. ### Operations The Trade Support team, part of Operations, supports the operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting for products across global markets, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange, and futures. Interns gain exposure to working with traders and counterparties to resolve trading matters and help provide accurate books and records for the firm on a daily and monthly basis. ### Strategic Implementation The Strategic Implementation team leads complex, cross-functional initiatives that support the growth of Point72’s businesses, partnering with Strategy, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology. Interns gain exposure to the end-to-end program cycle, including coordinating meetings and deliverables, building project plans and timelines, documenting the current state, conducting root cause analysis, and developing playbooks for key activities. ### Strategy The Corporate Strategy team is a small, multidisciplinary group reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. It identifies, designs, and executes value-creating cross-functional initiatives and engages in new business and special situations. Interns gain exposure to strategic priorities by supporting operational analyses, conducting quantitative and qualitative research on competitive dynamics, industry trends, and market conditions, and providing project management support for key initiatives. ### Regulatory Reporting The Regulatory Reporting team provides governance across global regulatory filings and obligations, including submissions to the SEC, CFTC, NFA, MAS, FCA, SFC, and Kanto Finance Bureau. Interns gain exposure to filing preparation and submission, data reconciliations and exception investigations, collaboration with Compliance, Legal, Finance, Risk, Technology, and Trading, and the identification of automation opportunities that improve accuracy and reduce manual effort. ### Treasury The Treasury team supports the firm’s credit and treasury functions across Central Funding, Securities Lending, and Broker Relations by verifying and disputing margin calls, reporting on counterparty exposure, investing excess cash, and negotiating margin terms with prime brokers and derivative counterparties. Interns gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of financial instruments across global markets while working alongside senior treasury professionals. ### Human Capital The Human Capital team serves as trusted business partners and advisors within the Point72 community, committed to driving a distinctive culture that values collaboration, innovation, and adaptive performance. Interns gain exposure to day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, recruiting and interview coordination, HR reporting, project work, and compliance and privacy best practices for handling confidential information. ### Legal The Legal team delivers exceptional legal services that promote the firm’s performance with the utmost integrity and supports Point72 groups globally with practical advice on complex legal and regulatory matters in an ever-changing environment.
