This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in financial services administration who enjoys delivering outstanding client service and working in a collaborative environment. You will play an important role in supporting our Financial Planners, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient client journey while developing your own knowledge and career within financial planning. ## Key Responsibilities - Maintain accurate client records and workflows within Intelligent Office (IO). - Support Financial Planners with client onboarding, meeting preparation, and annual reviews. - Process new business applications and platform transactions, including fund switches and cash management activities. - Liaise with clients, providers, life offices, and third parties to obtain information and progress cases. - Prepare client documentation, engagement letters, and correspondence. - Complete AML and identity verification checks in line with regulatory requirements. - Obtain valuations and product information from providers and internal systems. - Work closely with Paraplanners and Review teams to support the timely delivery of client reports. - Assist with Trust administration, Death Claims, and other client servicing activities. - Provide regular updates on client cases and contribute to delivering an excellent client experience. ## Candidate Profile ### Essential Requirements - GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English. - Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role. - 1-4 years' experience in a Financial Planning Support role, or at least 1 year as a Trainee Financial Planning Assistant. - Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. ### Desirable Skills - Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) and financial planning platforms. - An interest in developing a long-term career within Financial Planning and Wealth Management. ## What We Offer You will join a supportive team environment where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills, build your industry knowledge, and play a key role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals. ## Applying to this role This Financial Planning Assistant role at Raymond James runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
