The ideal candidate should complete their graduation requirement by September 2026 and be available to start the position from October 2026 onwards. The trainee program is one year initially, with the possibility of extension up to two years in total, subject to performance and business needs. Please apply for this role on our Career Website and complete the form at the specified link; both steps are required for your application to be considered complete. ## Key Responsibilities - Facilitate the KYC process through external and internal communication. - Assist in documentation negotiation, such as ISDA, CSA, and GMRA. - Prepare internal memos and call reports. - Collaborate closely with the Senior Banker and Risks department on credit monitoring and overall portfolio risk management. - Assist the Senior Banker in preparation for annual credit reviews. - Prepare performance reports and provide related information to management when needed. - Prepare presentations and market intelligence for clients to maintain relationships. - Ensure that all administration associated with the portfolio is handled accurately and timely according to established procedures. ## Required Skills and Qualifications ### Education and Experience - **Minimal Education Level:** Bachelor's Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent. - **Academic Qualification/Specialty:** Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline. - **Experience Level:** 0-2 years; Internship experience in Banking is required. ### Technical and Soft Skills - **Communication and Problem Solving:** Strong skills with the ability to provide solutions. - **Attitude:** Self-motivated, hardworking, with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility; responsible, proactive, positive, attentive to details, and diligent. - **Technical Proficiency:** Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other PC applications. - **Languages:** Fluent in both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required. ## Additional Information **Ad hoc requests/projects:** Additional tasks will be assigned as needed. **Regulatory Note:** In accordance with the Mandatory Reference Checking (MRC) Scheme implemented by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), a successful candidate for an In-Scope Position who has held a position with an In-Scope Institution in the past 7 years will be subject to a mandatory reference check.
