The Ankura Capital Advisors investment banking team is seeking a Summer Analyst/Intern. The candidate will work closely with senior members of the Capital Advisory Group to advise companies, creditors, and other stakeholders in evaluating and recommending strategic alternatives, including mergers and acquisitions, special situations financing, liability management, and restructuring. ## Responsibilities - Assist with day-to-day transaction execution under the direction of Managing Directors. - Develop fully integrated financial models. - Create pitch and transaction marketing materials. - Prepare industry and client research and bespoke analyses. - Coordinate and perform business due diligence and execute M&A and restructuring transactions. - Conduct comprehensive valuation analyses of companies and business units. - Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors. - Support new business and marketing initiatives as appropriate. - Prepare client presentations, draft offering memoranda, prepare internal committee memoranda, develop management and board presentations, and create other materials for senior bankers as required. ## Basic Qualifications, Skills, and Characteristics - Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028. - Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. - Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and executive presence. - Strong attention to detail and consistency in work product. - High degree of maturity, integrity, leadership ability, and work ethic. - Self-starting team player who excels in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and challenging work environment. - Interest in obtaining SIE, Series 7, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses in the future. - This role requires permanent authorization to work in the United States, such as U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
