The Banking Group comprises industry groups that work closely with product team members in Mergers & Acquisitions, Global Capital Markets, Real Estate, and other groups across the Firm to provide clients with relevant market insight, product creativity, and execution expertise. Solutions offered include initial public offerings, public and private equity and equity-linked financings, mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings, defense advisory assignments, strategic partnerships, public and private debt placements, share repurchases, and hedging, swaps, and derivative transactions. A business unit within Investment Banking, Morgan Stanley’s Private Capital Advisory (“PCA”) group, is seeking an Analyst in the New York office. The Private Capital Advisory team is a global group focused on advising financial sponsors and institutional investors on a wide range of strategic liquidity solutions across the private capital universe. The team collaborates closely with industry and product groups across the firm to deliver relevant market insight, structuring advice, and best-in-class execution to clients. As a member of the team, successful candidates will provide advisory, structuring, and execution services to clients with investments across the private capital universe. The role requires working closely with professionals throughout the firm to deliver high-quality advice. You will play an important role on a team of senior professionals who encourage creative, analytical thinking beyond just the numbers. ## Qualifications - Up to 2 years of experience in investment banking or capital markets is required. - Possess an extraordinarily high level of motivation, focus on work quality, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and decision-making abilities. - Experience in the Private Capital Advisory industry is preferred, but not required. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude. - Must be analytical, quantitative, adaptive, driven, a self-starter, a leader, a team player, a multitasker, and results-oriented. - Demonstrated interest in developing a career in investment banking. - Top educational credentials; Bachelor’s degree is required. - Possess or be eligible to obtain necessary Series licensing. ## What You Can Expect From Morgan Stanley At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage, and allocate capital for our clients to help them reach their goals.
