Working with senior originations team members, this position supports the analysis and execution of Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) on behalf of Nuveen Green Capital throughout the United States. ## Key Responsibilities and Duties - Provide financial, analytical, and loan underwriting support to senior originations team members by building financial models, conducting financial and credit analysis of properties, reviewing markets, underwriting borrowers, writing internal investment memoranda, assisting in internal and external processes, and conducting key diligence. - Provide transaction support during the origination process, including inbound and quoting new transactions with term sheets and pricing sheets, maintaining Salesforce data and due diligence files, collaborating with city and county C-PACE administrators, and closing transactions. - Perform ongoing market and property-specific research. - Work to develop relationships with sponsors, mortgage brokers, and other market participants. - Communicate internally with originations, credit, legal, and asset management teams, and externally with clients and referral partners to keep the deal team on track for key milestones and closing. ## Preferred Qualifications - University Degree in Finance or Economics. - 1 year of professional experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE). - Internship or coursework related to Commercial Real Estate (CRE) finance or underwriting. - Demonstrated interest in real estate finance and sustainability. ## Skills Accountability, Adaptability, Clean Energy Acumen, Collaboration, Commercial Mindset, Consultative Communication, Continuous Improvement Mindset, Executive Presence, Prioritizes Effectively, Stakeholder Engagement ## Compensation and Timeline **Base Pay Range:** $56,000/yr - $86,500/yr Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
