Discover more at http://www.javelincommodities.com/. ## Internship Opportunities Javelin’s 6-week Internship program allows interns to rotate across the Operations department, gaining firsthand experience within one of the world’s leading commodity businesses. ### Induction Weeks The first two weeks are dedicated to full induction into the business. This includes small group sessions covering each department to provide a comprehensive overview of how the business operates, alongside team-building activities with fellow interns. You will be partnered with a mentor—an industry expert who will guide your experience to maximize your learning time at Javelin. ### Rotations Following induction, you will rotate through various operations teams to gain in-depth knowledge of their functions and their contribution to Javelin’s success, particularly regarding the product lifecycle across all our traded commodities. This phase is crucial for understanding potential career paths within Javelin while working alongside industry leaders. Rotations include time spent with: - **Settlements:** The Settlements team manages the reconciliation, confirmation, and settlement for all deals involving our commodity products. Working with logistics and traders, they ensure accurate risk capture and timely debits/credits. - **Documentation:** The Documentation team manages contract agreements with clients across our range of commodity products. Working with logistics and traders, they ensure the complete life cycle of the trade is effectively supported. - **Trade Finance:** This core team provides liquidity for trade-related working capital cycles, which is essential for maintaining trade flow across all our trading desks. ### Project Development At the start of the program, you will be assigned a strategic project to develop and progress throughout your placement. Supported by your mentor, you will apply everything learned across the business to create a tangible opportunity, improvement, or new process that delivers value to Javelin. In the final week, you will refine and perfect your project before presenting your recommendations and outcomes to senior management, including the CEO.
