Common engagements include forensic accounting, fraud investigations, valuation, shareholder disputes, intellectual property disputes, employment disputes, quantification of commercial damages, and complex insurance claims. _At Stout, you are engaged in real work right away._ ## Responsibilities As a Summer Intern, a typical day might include: - Assisting in the creation of financial models - Analyzing financial statements - Reviewing and organizing documents received - Performing data entry - Conducting industry and company research - Performing quality control checks - Assisting Analysts and Associates with various ad hoc requests The intern will be part of a firm where a culture of exceptional client service is inspired by leadership at every level. ## Qualifications and Requirements - Pursuing a BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline - Strong academic record with a minimum 3.2 GPA required - Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word - Relevant internship and/or extracurricular experience - Strong analytical, verbal, technical, and written skills - Superior communication and interpersonal skills - Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship at the time of hire and in the future #LI-SG1 ## Additional Information The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $32.00 per hour, depending on prior work and industry experience, education level, and unique skills.
