The role focuses on building customer relationships, fostering loyalty, and increasing sales to individual consumer clients. ## Responsibilities - Work with business credit requests under $250,000, recognize and refer larger lending opportunities, and cross-sell treasury and related small business products. - Build referral opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program. - Support strategies to grow the small business client base and implement appropriate sales plans for Book of Business customers. - Deliver client services and conduct outbound and inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing relationships through the cross-selling of relevant products and services while delivering a strong client experience. - Coach and guide tellers and other branch staff on products and special programs, identify client needs, and provide appropriate referrals. - Recognize clients’ transaction needs, educate them on service and digital channels, leverage available technology and marketing tools to identify opportunities, and present product offers and financial solutions. - Understand and comply with Citibank policies, standards, and procedures. - Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, with particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and the safeguarding of Citigroup, its clients, and its assets. - Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; adhere to policy; apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices; and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues. ## Qualifications - 0–2 years of relevant experience. - Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred. - Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies. - NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance. - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. ## Education - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. ## Position Details - **Job Family Group:** Consumer Sales - **Job Family:** Branch Sales - **Time Type:** Full time - **Primary Location:** New York, New York, United States - **Primary Location Full-Time Salary Range:** $61,280.00–$85,520.00 - **Anticipated Posting Close Date:** September 22, 2026 ## Additional Information This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
