Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics, rigorous research, and problem-solving techniques supported by deep expertise and thought leadership. ## About the Role Strategy Insights & Planning Consultants deliver high-quality solutions for clients. Consultants use unstructured problem-solving, analytical, synthesis, and communication skills to address complex business challenges and may work on multiple projects simultaneously. As they advance in their careers, they may specialize in a particular industry, practice area, or client relationship. ## Responsibilities - Lead workstreams and project teams. - Partner with senior client stakeholders to identify business challenges and define opportunities. - Develop AI and digital transformation strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps. - Lead qualitative and quantitative research efforts to assess market trends, customer needs, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes. - Structure ambiguous business problems and develop actionable recommendations using hypothesis-driven problem-solving. - Translate complex technical concepts into clear business implications for executive audiences. - Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and technology teams to shape AI solutions that align with client business objectives. - Drive client workshops, executive presentations, and strategic discussions with cross-functional stakeholders. - Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of ZS's AI strategy capabilities, thought leadership, and intellectual property. - Help develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional impact and growth. ## Qualifications - Currently in the first year of an MBA program. - Bachelor's degree, and often a graduate degree, in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field. - Three to five years of pre-MBA work experience. - Demonstrated experience leading client-facing projects and managing stakeholder relationships. - Strong understanding of AI, generative AI, machine learning, and emerging digital technologies and their business applications. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and structured-thinking skills. - Strong communication and executive presentation capabilities. - Fluency in English. - Client-first mentality. - Intense work ethic. - Collaborative spirit and a problem-solving approach. ## How You’ll Grow - Cross-functional skills development and custom learning pathways. - Milestone training programs aligned with career progression opportunities. - Internal mobility paths that support growth through individual contribution, role expansion, and career progression. ## Perks and Benefits ZS offers a comprehensive total rewards package that supports employee health and well-being, financial futures, time away, and professional development.
