The team monitors client accounts to ensure they remain within exposure limits and takes action to bring accounts back within those limits when necessary. A primary responsibility is validating and ensuring that all margin calls are issued promptly, while working closely with business partners to ensure calls are met in a timely manner. The team also performs daily regulatory reporting across multiple businesses. MCVO includes Collateral Management, covering cleared and non-cleared collateral, Portfolio Reconciliation, and Margin Lending. It is part of the Goldman Sachs Operations organization and operates as a global, multifaceted, cross-product function. ## How You Will Fulfill Your Potential As an employee within MCVO, you will primarily focus on mitigating counterparty credit risk through a range of operational processes. You will be expected to perform these functions while demonstrating innovation and a proactive approach by identifying inefficiencies and risks and implementing improvements. You will also provide a high level of service to clients. The role involves close interaction with a wide range of areas across the bank, including Credit Risk Management, Legal and Compliance, Sales, Trading, Controllers, Middle Office, Client Representatives, Central Clearing Services, and other Operations departments.
