## Summary

Dime Commercial Bank (Dime) is hiring a Customer Service Associate (CSA) – Floater for branches in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Based out of the Huntington branch on Long Island, the CSA – Floater will complete deposit and withdrawal transactions, respond to customer inquiries, and issue money orders, cash advances, and cashier’s checks.

The CSA – Floater will open, close, and service the bank’s deposit and consumer loan products for Dime customers throughout the branch market area. Previous retail banking experience is preferred.

## Compensation

The hourly wage range is $20 to $29. Exact pay may vary based on skills, experience, training, licenses or certifications, language requirements, and location.

## Responsibilities

- Provide account services to Dime customers.

- Process deposit and withdrawal transactions accurately and efficiently.

- Reconcile cash drawers by verifying cash transactions and counting and packaging currency and coins.

- Process night deposit bags.

- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Dime products and services to provide appropriate solutions to customers’ financial needs.

- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements.

- Complete reporting required under the Bank Secrecy Act, including Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), and Dime’s internal Suspicious Activity Tracking Reports.

- Respond to inbound customer inquiries.

- Support the branch manager’s business development efforts through in-branch sales, telephone campaigns, and direct-mail campaigns.

- Perform new account and file maintenance reviews to ensure data accuracy and integrity for SOX 404 purposes.

- Review, submit, process, and close consumer loan requests.

- Make decisions within the scope of assigned authority, including overdrafts, overrides, and signature guarantees, in the absence of branch managers.

## Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Minimum of two years of retail banking experience preferred.

- Cash-handling experience preferred.
