We’re known for acting with integrity and thinking for the long-term, and we foster a welcoming, caring and inclusive culture where people feel respected, trusted and able to be themselves. ## The Team Our investment process takes environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) issues into account where, in our view, these have a material impact on investment risk or return. We identify relevant ESG issues through an internal research process and in collaboration with a highly technical in-house Sustainable Investing team. The Sustainable Investing team is organised into two complementary pillars: - **Stewardship & Research:** Generates sustainability research and insights to support investment decision-making, and uses stewardship to influence companies and wider market practices. This includes sector and thematic research, ESG and governance analysis, company and policy engagement, and proxy voting—helping identify material sustainability risks and opportunities and support long-term value creation. - **Strategy, Product & Governance:** Builds and maintains sustainability data, tools and investment frameworks that underpin our sustainable investing capabilities, and translates them into products and client solutions. This includes sustainability datasets and methodologies, product design and implementation, tailored client solutions, regulatory requirements and ongoing product oversight—helping embed these capabilities across our investment offering. ## What You’ll Be Doing Over the 10-week programme, you’ll gain experience across both core pillars of the Sustainable Investing team. You will typically work on a substantive project within each area, alongside shorter-term team priorities. Your work may include: - Researching sustainability themes and companies - Supporting engagement and voting-related analysis - Analysing sustainability data - Contributing to the development of sustainable investment products, tools, frameworks and reporting You will work with colleagues across Sustainability and the wider investment business, using research and data to develop insights, solve practical problems, and communicate your findings clearly. ## The Difference You’ll Make You’ll contribute to positive, meaningful work that makes a difference to our clients by helping them invest and plan for the futures they want. We’re looking for interns who are analytical, eager to learn, and ready to take on a challenge. A genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn about investment is vital, along with a lively interest in our work and our industry. Creative thinking and attention to detail are also important.
