## Role details

## Job Responsibilities

  
- Conduct literature reviews and support experimental research activities.
  
- Perform materials production, fabrication, and assembly processes.
  
- Assist in field trials, testing, and evaluation activities.
  
- Document materials processing procedures, experimental findings, and field trial results, including the preparation of technical reports.
  
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and laboratory consumables.
  
- Maintain laboratory inventory and stock records.
  
- Coordinate and monitor the periodic maintenance of laboratory equipment and facilities.
  
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and procedures.
  
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment.

## Job Requirements

  
- Diploma or degree in Materials Science & Engineering or a related discipline.
  
- Good understanding of material properties, processing, fabrication, and testing methodologies.
  
- Strong research and experimental skills, including the ability to conduct literature reviews, design and execute experiments, analyze results, and support field trials.
  
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing skills.
  
- Experience in laboratory operations, including inventory management, procurement, and coordination of equipment maintenance.
  
- Meticulous, organized, and able to maintain accurate documentation and records.
  
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, risk assessment processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
