Schroders’ success is driven by its diversified business model across different asset classes, client types, and geographies. ## 2027 Summer Internship Program Our 2027 Summer Internship Program runs for 9 weeks, starting on Monday, June 7th and finishing on Friday, August 6th. The internship provides a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders. Applications are accepted only from students in their Junior Year, graduating in 2028. ## Throughout the program you will: - Participate in comprehensive introductory training to build your understanding of the business - Be assigned to a team where you will contribute to live projects and gain meaningful hands-on experience - Shadow experienced professionals and learn directly from leaders in the field - Have opportunities to network with colleagues and other interns to build connections for your future career This internship provides practical experience, skill development, and a strong foundation for those interested in pursuing a career in the Asset Management sector. ## Who we’re looking for We are looking for individuals who are motivated and have a clear passion to work within Schroders Capital Infrastructure. ## Required skills and capabilities - Innovative and analytical—comfortable thinking outside the box and bringing fresh perspectives - Flexible, inquisitive, and open-minded to rotate across different teams - Comfortable getting involved in a variety of tasks and projects - A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills; confident voicing your opinion - Growth mindset—able to learn from mistakes - Result-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate well with diverse stakeholders ## Some of your tasks may include: - Working with the capital raising and product strategy teams to develop and launch new product offerings to grow our platform globally. This includes researching new investment themes, supporting the structuring of new products, and creating client materials - Supporting capital raising processes, including investor due diligence - Assisting in portfolio management, including portfolio construction analysis, investment governance, investor reporting, and maintaining fund-level data ## The Team Schroders Greencoat was founded in 2009 and is now part of Schroders. It is a specialist infrastructure investment manager focused on investing in the fast-growing alternative asset class of energy transition through both public and private market funds. Expertise includes established renewable technologies such as wind and solar, as well as newer areas such as batteries, heat pumps, heat networks, and green hydrogen. Schroders Greencoat is central to Schroders’ infrastructure equity capabilities within Schroders Capital, the group’s private markets business. Schroders Capital Infrastructure brings together the legacy Greencoat teams in the US and Europe, alongside a Paris-based infrastructure equity team within Schroders, and a more recently onboarded renewable infrastructure team based in Hong Kong and mainland China. Collectively, this comprises a team of over 140 staff across 10 countries in Europe, the United States, and China. The team has invested over €17 billion into approximately 450 energy transition assets at various project stages, with an aggregate capacity of around 8GW. ## Knowledge, experience and qualifications we’re looking for - You will be in your Junior Year, graduating in 2028. This will be onsite in the New York City office 3x a week on a hybrid working model.
