The successful candidate will gain exposure to global equity markets, derivatives, commodities, and portfolio implementation strategies while contributing to the efficient management of Invesco's ETF platform. ### Responsibilities of the Role - Under the supervision of senior traders, execute trades in accordance with SEC and SRO regulations while adhering to best execution standards. - Trade multi-asset orders associated with index events, rebalances & reconstitutions, rolls, and creation/redemptions using a variety of trading strategies, technologies, and market venues. - Partner closely with fund managers to provide market intelligence, discuss implementation considerations, and identify opportunities to improve execution outcomes. - Act as a liaison between the trading desk and supporting functions, including capital markets, investment operations, compliance, legal, and other stakeholders to resolve issues that arise. - Maintain awareness of developments in market structure, liquidity, regulations, and trading technology. - Participate in meetings with brokers and other industry representatives to develop relationships, gather market intelligence, and stay informed of industry trends. ### Requirements for the Role - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. - 1 to 3 years of experience in asset management, trading, capital markets, investment operations, portfolio analytics, or a related financial services role. - Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong working relationships across teams. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to conduct complex analysis and present data in a meaningful way. - Prior trading experience or knowledge preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bloomberg Terminal. - FINRA Series 57 license required or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe. The salary range for this position in New York, New York is 110,000 - 160,000/year USD.
