The Crypto Operations team is passionate about delivering an excellent end-customer experience and mitigating firm risk while supporting cutting-edge crypto products. As a Crypto Operations Intern, you will serve as a technical product and operations expert, owning processes critical to maintaining Robinhood’s crypto products while supporting product teams in improving and scaling our offerings. You’ll partner with specialized subject-matter experts on the operations desks—including Trading, Money Movements, Account Servicing, Product Operations, and Risk Management—to identify optimization opportunities, support critical day-to-day processes, and provide feedback loops that inform product development. You’ll also collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Product Management, Engineering, and Finance to ensure operational readiness, efficient processes, and a seamless customer experience. This role is based in our New York, NY office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. ## What you’ll do - Support critical business functions, including monitoring order and execution health, blockchain network performance, and liquidity management - Handle and troubleshoot complex customer escalations, supporting root-cause analysis and partnering with product teams to prioritize fixes - Identify inefficiencies in operational processes, translate operational needs into product requirements, and collaborate with product operations to design scalable solutions - Contribute to the design and enhancement of internal tools by providing feedback, testing new workflows, and partnering with engineering to ensure tools meet operational needs - Support product launches and feature rollouts by ensuring operational readiness and developing clear process documentation ## What you bring - Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related analytical field, with an expected graduation date of Winter 2027/Summer 2028 - Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills - Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information for different audiences - An operational and product-oriented mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making - Interest and passion for crypto, blockchain technology, and emerging financial products ## What we offer - Market-competitive compensation structure - Quarterly lifestyle wallet for personal wellness, learning and development, and more - Access to leading AI tools and continuous AI skill-building for every employee - Time away including company holidays, paid time off, and sick time - Lively office environment with catered meals, fully stocked kitchens, and geo-specific commuter benefits ## Compensation (Expected Hourly Range) - US Zone 1: $24.65–$29 per hour - US Zone 2: $24.65–$29 per hour - US Zone 3: $23.8–$28 per hour Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands.
