## Role details

**Invitation-only event**

Our London office is growing, and FX and commodities sit at the centre of that growth. On Thursday 1 October, we are opening the doors to 25 final-year and Master’s students who want to see how a market maker actually works.

**Schedule (from 16:00)**

  
- A tour of the trading floor
  
- Welcome from our London Managing Director
  
- How we trade FX: strategy, technology, and the people behind it
  
- Our commodities desk: what we trade and why it’s interesting
  
- A few words from IMC’s global CEO
  
- Head to a nearby bar to talk with our London traders, engineers, and quants

Take the chance to ask the questions you can’t get answered from a careers page—and leave knowing whether this is the kind of place you want to start your career.

## Who We’re Looking For

Final-year students in any quantitative discipline—maths, physics, computer science, engineering, or econometrics. Curiosity matters more than a specific course.
