Our Summer Internship Programme offers access to information, experts, and industry leaders. Over the course of your ten weeks, you will learn how our analysts formulate investment theses to advise portfolio managers. ## What You’ll Be Doing We don’t expect you to come in knowing everything about what we do. Whatever you’re studying, we’ll help you make the most of your time with us. Your Multi Asset Research team focuses on two core areas: - **Tactical Asset Allocation:** developing investment views across asset classes as market conditions evolve - **Manager Research & Strategy Selection:** researching and selecting investment strategies and managers for our portfolios You’ll also gain exposure to the wider Multi Asset investment process, including macroeconomic research, strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk. Risk consideration and management are central to all our investment decisions. Over your ten-week internship, you’ll build an understanding of how different asset classes behave and how investment opportunities are identified and assessed. You’ll work on assigned projects across different asset classes and research areas, and gain exposure to how our investment views and portfolios evolve as market conditions change. You’ll learn through a combination of your own research and analysis, discussions around economic data and policy developments, and meetings with portfolio managers, analysts and other investment specialists across Fidelity. You’ll present your findings and make investment recommendations to our global Multi Asset team, gaining practical experience in turning research and analysis into actionable investment conclusions. Successful interns may be considered for a place on our Graduate Programme, subject to performance and business requirements. ## The Difference You’ll Make You’ll contribute to positive, meaningful work that makes a difference to our clients. You’ll help them invest and plan for the futures they want, and you’ll provide valuable support to your team. ## How You’ll Be Supported You’ll start with a welcome and orientation to meet your fellow interns and learn about us and our work. Once the programme begins, you’ll learn every day through experts around you and by tackling real projects. The focus is to support you in gaining experience and discovering what kind of future you could build in our industry. Throughout the programme, you’ll be supported by an assigned buddy and the wider team, including Portfolio Managers. You will have a company-wide Fidelity induction in your first week, followed by specific technical training in your second week. You’ll also be invited to attend short learning sessions throughout your time with us. Every week, you’ll have access to virtual drop-in sessions with the Early Careers team to answer your questions and support you during the programme. ## What We Look For It’s who you are that matters here, rather than what you studied. We welcome applications from all degree disciplines. You will need to be in the penultimate year of your degree, graduating in 2028 and available to complete 10 weeks of full-time work during Summer 2027. We’re looking for highly driven people with intellectual curiosity, ambition, resilience, comfort with numeracy, and a commitment to serving the best interests of our clients. - **Thirst for Knowledge:** intellectually curious; able to collect and analyse a range of information and use it to make judgements on the prospects of asset classes and investment ideas - **Analytical Skills:** able to undertake complex research, interpret data, judge differing viewpoints, and form insights to support wise investment decisions for clients - **Articulate & Persuasive:** able to communicate analysis and views with confidence and tenacity - **Any Degree Discipline:** all degree disciplines and academic achievements welcomed As an international organization, you will need to speak English.
