You will play a lead role in acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful client relationships by applying your financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions that address clients’ financial needs and make their lives easier, contributing to the success of the branch. ## Job Responsibilities - Put clients first and exceed expectations by delivering attentive, friendly service and creating a welcoming environment. - Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them in person and over the phone to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations. - Use clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients—ask questions, listen carefully, and anticipate needs to build trust. - Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to support their banking needs whenever and wherever they want. - Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to consult with clients on banking solutions, and collaborate with/connect clients to our team of experts for specialized financial needs. - Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements. ## Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries, with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results. - Ability to create memorable experiences for clients and elevate the client experience. - Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor product and service features and benefits to clients with differing needs. - Ability to resolve client issues quickly and effectively with attention to detail, ensuring a consistent client experience. - Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training. - High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent. - Minimum licensing requirements include the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, applicable state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses. Unlicensed applicants must obtain licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, with study materials and support provided. - Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings. ## Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - College degree or military equivalent. - Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. ## Dodd-Frank / Truth in Lending Act and SAFE Act (Loan Originator Requirements) This position is subject to Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators.
