As a Branch Operations Lead in a Chase Branch, you’ll be at the heart of our branch operations, working closely with the Branch Manager, branch employees, and our team of experts to ensure clients’ financial transactions are handled with precision and care while adhering to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. A typical day will involve assisting clients with their transactions, introducing clients to self-service options to simplify their banking experience, and building lasting relationships. Throughout the week, you’ll review branch operations, keep the branch team informed about the latest policies and procedures, and provide leadership to help the branch meet and exceed control expectations. ## Job Responsibilities - Collaborate with the Branch Manager to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere in the branch, ensuring every client enjoys an exceptional experience. - Greet clients warmly as they enter the branch, making them feel valued and appreciated. Assist with transactions, manage lobby flow, and schedule meetings to build trusted relationships. - Engage clients with clear, polite communication to understand and help them effectively. Anticipate needs while checking clients into the waiting queue to ensure a smooth visit. - Lead branch operations, including managing cash devices such as the cash vault and ATM. Resolve client issues quickly and effectively while adhering to all bank policies and procedures. - Introduce clients to the branch team and collaborate to deliver seamless service with care and sincerity, supporting specialized financial needs and elevating the client experience. - Simplify clients’ banking experience by sharing self-service options so clients can access their accounts anytime, day or night. - Work closely with the Branch Manager to support branch operations, maintaining high standards for loss control, compliance, and audits to ensure the branch operates smoothly and securely. ## Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - Committed to adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements to ensure smooth and efficient operations. - Detail-oriented and organized, able to juggle multiple tasks effectively. - Demonstrated leadership skills and operational proficiency, ensuring transaction accuracy in a collaborative team environment. - Strong passion for educating the branch team and partners and keeping them connected and informed. - Strong ability to build meaningful connections with clients; able to educate clients and refer them to the team of experts when needed. - 1+ years of retail banking experience. - High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent. - Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings. ## Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - 6+ months of Associate Banker (Teller) experience. - College degree or military equivalent. ## Training and Travel Requirement - Successful completion of the Branch Operations Lead Training Program before being considered for placement as a Branch Operations Lead. - Ability to travel as required for in-person training and meetings. ## About Chase Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
