The team is seeking an ambitious, mature individual with the desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to learn on the job. ## Primary Responsibilities Evercore Off-Cycle Interns are highly motivated individuals and must demonstrate the ability and desire to learn and work hard. They will form an integral part of a deal team and be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: - Industry and company research and analysis - Analysis of company accounts, profit & loss, and cash flow information - Assisting in the preparation of financial models to value and analyze companies or assets in the sector - Supporting management of aspects of transaction processes and preparation of marketing materials - Assisting with interpretation of financial and industry operational information - Supporting preparation of detailed financial and strategy presentations ## Team Expectations Off-Cycle Interns typically work as part of small teams and must demonstrate: - A strong interest in corporate finance - Knowledge of financial modeling and problem-solving skills, supported by attention to detail - Project management skills - Independence, confidence, and self-motivation - Ability to multitask and work on multiple assignments in parallel - An interest in the telecom market and adjacent industries ## Specific Qualifications - Undergraduate degree or higher (Finance or Accounting subject preferred) with top grades - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas in both written and oral form - Italian speaker - Enrolled in school - Prior experience in M&A, Private Equity, or Corporate M&A - Enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented character - Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge; familiarity with other common investment banking application (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Preqin) is a plus ## About Evercore Evercore is a premier independent investment banking advisory firm with 1,400 employees and a global presence in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
