The team is seeking an ambitious, mature person who is eager to learn in an entrepreneurial environment and is able to learn on the job. ## Primary Responsibilities - Conduct industry and company research and analysis - Analyze company accounts, profit & loss, and cash flow information - Assist in the preparation of financial models to value and analyze companies or assets in the sector - Support the management of certain aspects of transaction processes and the preparation of marketing materials - Assist with the interpretation of financial and industry operational information - Support with the preparation of detailed financial and strategy presentations ## Team Requirements Off-Cycle Interns typically work as part of small teams and must demonstrate: - A strong interest in corporate finance - Knowledge of financial modeling and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail - Project management skills - Independence, confidence, and self-motivation - Ability to multitask and work on multiple assignments in parallel - An interest in the telecom market and adjacent industries ## Specific Qualifications - Undergraduate degree or higher (Finance or Accounting preferred) with top grades - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas (written and oral) - Italian speaker - Enrolled in school 1 prior experience in M&A, Private Equity, or Corporate M&A - Enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented character - Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge; familiarity with other common investment banking applications (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Preqin) is a plus ## About Evercore Evercore is a premier independent investment banking advisory firm with 1,400 employees and a global presence in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
