### Why the Finance Summer Internship Programme?

Numbers matter, but it’s how we use them that makes Finance teams crucial. The better we understand the data, the better our decisions and performance will be.

Finance teams, consisting of over 4,000 colleagues worldwide, gather, manage, and interpret vital data. We monitor budgets and provide the business with accurate, high-quality financial and management information. By investing in advanced technology and tools, we transform data and models to drive significant business improvements, and we support and challenge the business through enhanced insights, analytics, and resources. We also help investors see the full picture of our performance. As part of this global team, you’ll gain expertise in interpreting figures and understand the role of a critical business manager, helping shape strategy and ensuring operations remain on course.

Barclays will accept applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship to work in the UK and will provide a skilled worker visa for successful applicants if they meet the Home Office’s eligibility criteria for a skilled worker visa.
