The Evercore Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week program designed to provide highly motivated undergraduates with a strong interest in investment banking, shareholder activism, and corporate governance. The program is intended for intelligent, mature individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn on the job. Summer Analysts will demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and maintain an intellectual desire to learn and work hard. ## Role Overview As part of the Strategic, Defense & Shareholder Advisory team within the Advisory business, Summer Analysts will provide value-add analysis and research. The Analyst will create materials regarding hostile activity, shareholder activism, shareholder engagement, and corporate governance for use in client presentations, internal meetings, and marketing initiatives. The Analyst will work on live activism and raid defense situations, contested M&A and special committee assignments, and will perform analysis to identify companies’ potential vulnerabilities to activist shareholders or potential acquirers.
