The Program seeks intelligent and mature individuals who want to work in a boutique environment and learn on the job. Summer Analysts must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently and demonstrate intellectual curiosity. ## Program Overview Liability Management & Restructuring Summer Analysts will work on a variety of assignments, including: - In-court and out-of-court restructurings and recapitalizations - Exchanges, tenders, and other liability management transactions - Distressed M&A transactions - Private credit capital raises As a member of the deal team, individuals will be responsible for tasks including preparing for and attending client meetings, financial modeling, resolving complex accounting issues, analyzing financial statements and credit documentation, performing valuation and industry analysis, and supporting due diligence. The small deal team structure provides a strong platform to learn all aspects of restructuring and liability management, along with close contact with clients as well as partners within the firm. Evercore offers qualified Summer Analysts the opportunity to advance rapidly and take on more responsibility than in traditional bulge-bracket firms, along with exposure to blue-chip clients and the chance to be part of a growing, highly regarded firm. ## Specific Qualifications - Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029 - Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate ideas - Strong communication skills, both written and oral - Strong interest in special situations, distressed, and restructuring transactions - Strong work ethic - Enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented character ## Team Services The liability management and restructuring team provides financial restructuring services, strategic advice, and related investment banking services to companies in financial transition and to their interest holders. ## Application Instructions - Applications open September 9, 2026, and close November 15, 2026. - You may submit your application at any time during the application window.
