RSM UK’s FastTrack Audit school/college leaver programme is an accelerated route to becoming a Chartered Accountant, giving you the opportunity to complete your professional qualification a year earlier than our standard four-year programme, while still gaining valuable experience with a wide range of clients. This programme is rewarding but demanding. Completing the qualification over three years requires commitment, strong time-management skills, and the ability to balance client work, study, and your personal life. You’ll begin studying towards your Chartered Accountant qualification as soon as you join and will sit your first exams within your first few months. From day one, you’ll receive structured support from colleagues, managers, and your professional education provider, along with access to the latest technology to enhance your work and learning. ## Responsibilities - Conduct thorough, risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes, and controls. - Support the accuracy of financial statements and help build trust and confidence among stakeholders. - Become a key member of the team from day one—initially working as part of a larger team and taking on greater individual responsibility as your skills and experience develop. - Work with a wide variety of clients, including owner-managed businesses, large listed groups, charities, pension schemes, and other not-for-profit organisations. - Be mostly based in the office or at client sites to build relationships with colleagues and clients, while receiving the support you need early in your career. ## What We’re Looking For We think passion, personality, and originality are important to thrive at RSM. To be considered, you’ll need: - A minimum of 136 UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent Level 3 qualification). - An existing, permanent right to live and work in the UK for this role. - The motivation and resilience to undertake an accelerated academically demanding programme. - Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance the demands of work, professional study, and your personal life. - Effective written and verbal communication skills to share information clearly and collaborate successfully with colleagues and clients. - The ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems. - Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build relationships and stay calm under pressure. - A genuine interest in business and commerce and a commercial outlook. - Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required. ## Additional Information - RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels, or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). - Start date: 14 September 2027.
