## Internship / Project Description

With engineer’s guidance, perform, collect data, and analyze unusually complex experiments to develop the complicated physical vapor deposition (PVD) product.

**Job Scope Including:**

  
- PVD process optimization and measurement of metal film properties; organize data and reports for review
  
- Perform hardware characterization on moderately difficult systems, within safety guidelines
  
- With engineer’s guidance, involve in troubleshooting moderately complex problems; perform root cause analysis and resolve moderately difficult process engineering issues

- Learn about the semiconductor industry and its forefront PVD technology
  
- Appreciate the complexity of PVD technology and gain hands-on experience using the tools
  
- Think critically and come up with creative solutions
  
- Discuss findings and articulate ideas confidently
