## Summer Internship (Organization, Performance & Change)

This is an eight-week summer internship designed to give you a real look at consulting—not from the sidelines, but by getting close to the work.

You’ll join the **Organization, Performance & Change (OPC)** practice. Baringa helps clients answer questions such as: how teams should be organized; how lasting value can be created in an organization; what needs to change for a strategy to work in real life; and how leaders bring people along. Work also focuses on how organizations build the culture, capabilities, and ways of working needed for the future.

Because each project is built with the client and their needs in mind, your work could look different from week to week.

### What you might do

- Break down a complicated business problem and turn it into a clear story that helps a client decide where to invest for the future.

- Help organizations navigate major changes—launching a new strategy, shifting how teams work, or improving the employee experience.

- Examine how companies are organized, how decisions are made, and how people work together across teams.

- Map a “day in the life” for employees, identifying the moments that matter most.

- Help find better, simpler ways for work to get done—from improving processes to making teams more effective.

- Analyse complex datasets to generate insights that inform decisions made by both Baringa and clients.

- Help a client optimize its cost base to deliver long-term savings.

- Consider the people side of business, including leadership, culture, learning, talent, and what helps people perform at their best.

- Join complex team discussions where priorities shift, ideas evolve, and collaboration matters.

## What we’re looking for

We’re not expecting you to have consulting figured out already. We’re looking for students who are curious about how businesses work, energized by solving problems with others, and excited to learn in a fast-moving, team-based environment. You’ll stand out if you bring:

- **Curiosity about people, business, and change** - You like asking good questions and understanding what makes organizations work.

- **Clear thinking** - You can take complex information, spot what matters, and help turn it into practical next steps.

- **Strong communication** - You can explain ideas clearly, whether you’re building a slide, writing a summary, or contributing to a discussion.

- **A collaborative mindset** - You enjoy working with others, building on ideas, and being part of a team.

- **Comfort with learning new tools** - You’re open to building skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Mural, and other tools used to solve problems and tell stories.

- **Drive to keep growing** - You take feedback well, look for ways to improve, and are excited by the idea of helping shape a growing business.

Most of all, we’re looking for people who are excited to develop their skills, contribute, and bring their own perspective to the work.

## What’s in it for you?

- Real exposure to consulting work, client challenges, and the day-to-day rhythm of a project team.

- Coaching, mentoring, and support from people who want you to learn, contribute, and grow.

- Access to a collaborative, low-ego culture where interns can ask questions, share ideas, and connect with people across levels.

- A chance to join a global firm at a high-growth moment in the US—and help shape what comes next.

- A people-first workplace recognized externally for its culture, development, and commitment to creating impact that lasts.

- Potential for a full-time offer after graduation in a growing business.

## Requirements

- Applicants must be eligible to work in the US. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

- Applicants must be able to be in-person at Baringa and/or client site for the entirety of the internship program. The position will be on a hybrid basis, with some time spent working remotely and a few days a week on-site.

- Applicants must be in their junior year of college studies.

- Applicants must display a good mix of work experience or internships, extra-curricular activities (societies, sports clubs, etc.), and/or volunteering work.
