You will contribute significantly to branch success by delivering exceptional client experiences, building trusted relationships, sharing product knowledge and solutions, and helping clients achieve their financial goals. ## Job Responsibilities - Create a welcoming environment by delivering attentive and friendly service: greet clients as they enter the branch, make them feel heard and cared for, use a tablet to manage lobby traffic, check clients into the waiting queue, and schedule/cancel client meetings. - Exceed client expectations by providing account servicing and maintenance and opening new accounts, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements. - Educate and assist clients with day-to-day banking transactions, including using technology self-service options such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs. - Build meaningful client relationships by actively listening, asking thoughtful questions, demonstrating empathy, and sharing product knowledge and solutions—partnering with other branch team members to help clients achieve their financial goals. - Perform branch operations, which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault, ATM, or others, while adhering to all bank policies and procedures. ## Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - Ability to put clients first and exceed expectations by delivering attentive and friendly service and creating a welcoming environment. - Ability to build trusted relationships by demonstrating genuine care and concern during client interactions. - Ability to engage clients by communicating clearly and politely to understand and help, and anticipating client needs. - Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail, providing a consistent client experience. - Ability to elevate the client experience by working collaboratively as a team to deliver seamless service with care and sincerity. - Ability to quickly and accurately learn products, services, and procedures. - Client service experience or comparable experience. - High school diploma or GED equivalent. ## Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - Strong desire and ability to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology solutions. - Cash handling experience. ## Applying to this role This Associate Banker, 30 Hours, Upper Manhattan Area - Multiple locations role at J.P.
