You will work on client engagements alongside entry-level associates, gaining exposure to a variety of industries and applying your technical knowledge. You will work with senior staff and management to develop your skill set. Depending on local office needs, internships are available in assurance, tax, or a combination of the two and may be part-time or full-time. Winter semester internships generally run from early January through April 15, and summer internships typically run from early June through mid-August. ## How You Will Contribute - Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data - Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns - Calculate tax extension or estimate payments - Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers ## What We’re Looking For - Forward Vision - Solid technical accounting knowledge - Effective time management - Strong oral and written communication skills - Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite (preferred) - Ability to work well with a team as well as independently - Problem-solving attitude - Willingness to take initiative - Close attention to detail - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines ## Qualifications - Intern candidates must be working toward CPA Exam eligibility - Satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework is expected - Must maintain a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 - Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person - Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire - Visa sponsorship is not available for this position ## Compensation (New York Salary Range) **NY Minimum Salary (USD):** $28 **NY Maximum Salary (USD):** $32 Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
