During the 18-month program, apprentices participate in on-the-job training, related technical instruction, and career development workshops to build professional, durable skills. Upon completion, apprentices receive a nationally recognized credential certified by the U.S. Department of Labor. As a Digital Marketing Apprentice at Google, you will develop the skills needed for an entry-level career in digital marketing. You will help define, design, and execute digital marketing campaigns across channels for brands worldwide. You will develop strategy, content, and optimization skills, using AI tools where applicable to enhance creativity and efficiency. You will analyze market and campaign data, track key metrics, and present findings to drive objectives. You will also engage clients and gain exposure to consumer and business Google products. Apprentices are paid hourly, with time split between on-the-job training and related technical instruction. Apprentices are required to dedicate 40 hours each week to the program. The apprenticeship begins with an immersive virtual onboarding experience, followed by training on a Google team, along with ongoing track-specific learning and career workshops. Apprentices receive holistic career readiness support and, toward the end of the program, time and space to prepare for their next endeavor. ## Responsibilities - Support digital strategy design and implementation, including go-to-market and multi-channel campaigns. - Optimize campaigns and digital assets for SEO, leveraging AI-powered tools when applicable. - Manage Search, Video, and Programmatic campaigns, track key metrics, and present comprehensive findings to clients and cross-functional teams. - Practice responsible, effective, and innovative use of AI. ## Minimum Qualifications - High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or practical experience. - Not currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree program in a digital marketing-related field. - Less than 1 year of relevant digital marketing experience. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience using Google Workspace or a similar suite of productivity tools. - Ability to work independently and within a team framework. - Ability to navigate multiple ambiguous tasks and competing priorities while finding suitable solutions and seeking help or advice where appropriate. - Ability to be proactive and maintain a positive attitude. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including customer service capabilities and critical thinking abilities. - Enthusiasm and passion for new technologies, demonstrated through personal projects and commitment to learning new skills. ## Applying to this role This Digital Marketing Apprenticeship, February 2027 Start role at Google runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
