Bank of America is committed to an in-office culture with role-specific requirements for attendance, allowing flexibility where appropriate based on business and role considerations. ## The Team The Chief People Organisation operates as a strategic partner to each area of the bank, focused on making Bank of America a great place to work for all employees through recognising and rewarding performance, providing development and growth opportunities, ensuring an inclusive workplace with opportunity for all, and supporting employees’ physical, emotional, and financial wellness. ## Programme Overview Working in partnership, the Communications & Marketing teams play a key role in shaping and promoting the firm’s brand, culture, and strategic priorities. The team is responsible for Internal Communications, External Communications, Marketing, Employer Brand, social media, Content Creation, Events, Campaign Management, and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. During the 10-week summer internship programme, you will rotate through a variety of these functions and work on engaging projects that support business objectives and strengthen employee and external engagement. ## Training and Development Your training and development is a top priority, with extensive formal training at the start of the programme, plus on-the-job support, educational speaker events, and mentorship throughout. ## Responsibilities - Collaborate on projects across the Communications & Marketing team that contribute to key brand, engagement, and business objectives. - Support initiatives across Internal Communications, External Communications, Marketing, Employer Brand, social media, and Events. - Assist with creating engaging content for a variety of channels, including intranet articles, social media posts, presentations, campaigns, and marketing materials. - Support employer branding and attraction activities to promote the organisation as an employer of choice. - Participate in projects focused on audience engagement, campaign effectiveness, content strategy, and continuous improvement across communications and marketing activities. - Contribute to event planning and execution, helping to deliver internal and external events that enhance employee and stakeholder engagement. ## Eligibility - Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, with completion between September 2027 and July 2028. Completion means completing all final exams and coursework and having no outstanding requirements for graduation. The employer reserves the right to request evidence of this completion date before extending an offer. - On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent). - Available to join the programme from June 2027 to August 2027. Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full-time employment to commence in July 2028. Some lines of business may also offer the opportunity of a January or April start date. If offered, you must be available to join on one of these start dates; deferrals are not available. ## What We Are Looking For **Essential:** - Demonstrable evidence of self-learning outside of studies and efforts to advance technical skills. - Clear motivation for exploring an HR career within financial services. - Capacity for innovative thinking and strong problem solving. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a variety of people. - Evidence of strong teamwork and leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in written and spoken English. - Integrity and ethics demonstrated by earning others’ trust and respect through consistent honesty and professionalism in all interactions. **Desired:** - Good MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - A passion for processes and continuous improvement to meet stakeholder needs. ## Our Recruitment Process Analyst internship and full-time recruiting takes place on a rolling basis once applications are open.
