PIMCO invests globally across commercial and residential real estate and mortgage credit, performing and distressed corporate debt, and specialty finance markets. As an intern, you will seek to identify operational opportunities and challenges of alternative credit and private strategy investments. You will work alongside seasoned associates and Portfolio Managers, focusing on financial modeling and qualitative analysis to evaluate performance and alternative paths for under-performing positions. Throughout the summer, you will monitor the performance of positions, identify challenges, and help address them. ## The PIMCO Internship Experience: - The PIMCO Internship is a 10-week program running from early June to mid-August, with the expectation that you are available for the full duration. - During Week 1, you will participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training to build skills, knowledge, and relationships to support your success. - Alongside colleagues, participate in PIMCO’s Global Month of Volunteering, developed to heighten the impact of employees’ worldwide volunteer efforts. - Join a variety of cross-divisional education, networking, and social events. - Your supervisor, peer mentor, senior leaders, and team will provide guidance and mentorship throughout the summer. - You will gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools from day one, supported by training and resources. - You will receive feedback at mid- and end-of-summer as part of a formal review process tied to your summer goals. - As a PIMCO intern, you will receive competitive compensation, along with a transition bonus to support relocation to one of our office locations. ## How You Should Apply: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
