This internship programme is full-time. Interns are involved in real-time work from Day 1 and will gain insights into the Exchange business and the finance value chain. Note: Leave of Absence (LOA) may be required to take on the internship. ## Investor Relations ### Brief Overview The Investor Relations (IR) function serves as the strategic link between a company and its investment community, comprising shareholders, potential investors, analysts, and financial media. Internally, the IR team works closely with C-suites to craft and communicate strategy effectively and transparently. As an IR intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to the intersection of finance, strategy, and communications. ### Learning Objectives - Learn and understand the investor relations function in a public company. - Gain a vantage point into SGX’s strategy. ### Job Description - Assist in the preparation of investor presentations, peer analysis, and analysts’ financial models. - Support coordination of investor meetings, conferences, and events. - Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and market conditions. - Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings calls and other investor communications. - Provide administrative support to the Investor Relations team as needed. ### Knowledge and Skills Requirements - Major in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. - Good understanding of the equities markets; strong interests and hands-on trading and investment experiences preferred. - Basic understanding of financial statements and key financial metrics. - Strong analytical skills, including the ability to map and analyse business processes. - Attention to detail and ability to work independently with various priorities. ## Applying to this role This Intern - Investor Relations (Spring 2027, Jan to Jun 2027) role at SGX runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
