Join us! ## The Team The Global Markets Securitised Products Group (GMSP) provides secured funding solutions to clients backed by a broad range of asset classes. We serve a diverse range of clients, including banks, private equity firms, specialist lenders, and asset managers. Sitting on the private side, GMSP has a unique advantage of a hybrid banking/FICC lens. Our origination strategy focuses on cross-collaboration with Global Corporate & Investment Banking, targeting key global relationship clients of the Bank. ## Programme Overview Our GMSP programme includes formal training and assignments in the securitised products space across both the Real Estate Structured Finance and the Asset Backed Securities Finance / Residential Mortgages Backed Securities finance businesses. ## Training and Development Your training and development is our top priority. The programme includes extensive formal training at the start, as well as on-the-job support, educational speaker events, and mentorship throughout. ## Responsibilities As a summer analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: - Assist with day-to-day transaction needs, including transaction monitoring and deal preparation - Assist in preparing client pitch books, marketing materials, and internal credit papers - Learn how to analyse credit risk and model structured credit transactions - Attend client meetings as you build your network and experience - Assess market trends and provide quantitative data for the team ## Eligibility - Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a completion time frame between September 2027 and July 2028. Completion means you have completed all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation. The Bank reserves the right to request evidence of this completion date before extending an offer. - On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent) Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full-time employment to commence in July 2028. Some lines of business may also offer the opportunity of a January or April start date. If offered, you must be available to join on one of these start dates; unfortunately, deferrals are not available. ## What We Are Looking For - Finance and/or law related degree (a plus) - Extensive knowledge of Excel - Effective verbal and written communication - Detail-oriented approach with strong quantitative and analytical skills - Solid leadership, team, communication, and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a demanding environment - A track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities ## Our Recruitment Process Analyst internship and full-time recruiting takes place on a rolling basis once applications are open.
