As an intern, you will gain insights into the Exchange business and the finance value chain, and you will be immersed in specialist functions with real-time work from Day 1. **Note:** Leave of Absence (LOA) may be required to take on the internship. ## Brief Overview The Corporate Secretariat team at SGX operates as part of the broader Legal, Compliance & Corporate Secretariat (LCC) unit, which oversees, among others, the governance of SGX Group’s global operations. The team ensures that SGX, as a listed entity and market operator, adheres to high standards of corporate governance and regulatory compliance. The LCC unit also supports evolving trends in ESG reporting, digital governance, and regulatory reform. ## Learning Objectives This internship provides exposure to the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Secretariat of SGX Group, a critical function within corporate governance. Interns will develop a deeper understanding of the regulatory and compliance landscape in Singapore, including how governance frameworks are applied in practice. Projects may include contributing to the preparation of the Company’s Annual Report, supporting the planning and execution of the Annual General Meeting, and developing and maintaining documentation and tracking systems for operational processes.
