## Summary

Apple has an exciting opportunity in its IS&T team for an individual who is passionate about developing into an Accessibility Engineer. You will have a strong interest in digital accessibility and inclusive design, and you believe accessibility is a basic human right.

The role involves working with multiple teams on a variety of exciting projects, ensuring the best outcomes across engagements.

## Description

Are you a self-starter who can adapt and follow internal guidelines and processes, and work effectively under tight deadlines with teams spread around the globe?

Apple’s IS&T Accessibility Center of Excellence supports and promotes accessibility across Apple and provides consultancy services to project teams. The team is looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to support accessibility engagement across Apple.

Responsibilities include:

  
- Audit new and existing internal and external solutions for accessibility
  
- Collaborate with teams throughout the full project lifecycle for new features and solutions
  
- Liaise and coordinate with various functions
  
- Represent the team positively and effectively at all times
  
- Promote strong, practical accessibility outcomes while maintaining positive working relationships

Previous industry experience with an emphasis on accessibility would be an advantage.

## Minimum Qualifications

  
- Strong interest in digital accessibility with experience and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  
- Aptitude for independently learning new technologies
  
- Ability to work on multiple projects and manage a dynamic working environment
  
- Strong interpersonal skills and the potential to build strong working relationships

## Preferred Qualifications

  
- Experience working with people with disabilities
  
- Experience with digital accessibility
  
- Related software engineering internship
