The team works with sponsors seeking new investment opportunities to deploy capital, as well as with their portfolio companies throughout the ownership life cycle, from entry to exit. - FSG is a generalist team enabling junior investment bankers to gain experience across all sectors and investment banking products (M&A, Leveraged Finance, and ECM). - Analysts and Associates develop a broad-based, highly technical skill set with significant modelling, live deal, and client exposure. ## Programme Overview The Off-cycle Analyst programme is designed to offer a broad and exciting experience of work within Investment Banking. ## Training and Development Your training and development is a top priority, with extensive formal training at the start of the programme, along with on-the-job support, educational speaker events, and mentorship throughout. ## Responsibilities As an Off-cycle Analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): - Work on projects alongside bankers in specific industry, product, and country coverage groups, providing a unique learning opportunity. - Help the team deliver solutions to clients by leveraging the full spectrum of the bank’s capabilities. - Actively contribute to the preparation of client presentations and underlying financial analysis. - Build relationships, knowledge, and experience that will open doors to a wide range of future careers. - Actively participate in executing transactions, including work with clients as well as representatives of other investment banks and other advisors. ## Eligibility - Candidates are required to have already received or be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. - If already graduated, the graduation date must be after January 2026. - If still pursuing a degree, completion time frame must be before July 2027. Completion means you have completed all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation. - Please note: the bank reserves the right to request evidence of this completion date before extending an offer. - On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent. - Candidates must be available to join the programme from Monday 11 January for four months, with an option to extend by 2 months. - If candidates receive a full-time offer, they must be available to join the graduate programme from July 2027. - No deferred start dates are available. ## What We Are Looking For ### Essential - Fluency in English. - Drive, innovation, and a genuine interest in the financial markets. - Teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills, plus creativity; ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and interact with a variety of people. - Analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as financial and commercial acumen. - Ability to influence decisions and outcomes through effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and professionalism in all interactions. ### Desired - Additional European languages (Italian, German, French, Spanish and other). ## Our Recruitment Process Analyst internship and full-time recruiting takes place on a rolling basis once applications are open.
